Terms and Conditions of PhotoWoof.com

1) The copyright to any photos & digital media remains the sole property of the photographer (PhotoWoof.com)

This is subject to UK copyright law. Some models actually think they automatically hold the copyright or share in the copyright because they feature in the photograph or if they purchase a photo - this is not legally correct. While you may be present in the photo the person who created the shot is the photographer (i.e. the creator) and it is the photographer who owns 100% out-right copyright and use of any shots in any non-commercial and commercial usage without any further consulation and authorisation to the model. Models do not own the copyright to any photos unless they make a request to the photographer and pay to own the copyright and transfer this away from the photographer.

2) You are free to use the photos for your own personal use

(e.g. Facebook, dating websites or modelling porfolio/online profiles or to help promote yourself to a modelling agency) but photos supplied to yourself must not be sold, traded or passed on to third parties or companies in exchange for payment or promotional use in magazines/posters/calendars etc where money is likely to be made. You cannot make any money directly from the shots by selling them or supply photos where in-direct money can be made without first dicsussing this with the photographer and any copyright or logos supplied to you on-top of your photos must always be preserved and never removed especially if you are using them on modelling websites or profiles. If you do remove a logo or don't credit our work then you will be politely asked to remove those photos and if you fail to do so then this will result in a breach of the agreement.

When you supply sample photos to magazines, websites or to third parties such as modelling sites you must state who took the photo (PhotoWoof.com) and that you do not own the copyright and they must contact us to seek approval before publishing any photos either online or in print form. A model does not automatically have the legal right to promote and authorise the release of photos to magazines/newspapers/posters etc without first discussing this with the photographer. 

3) If a photo contains a watermark or logo these must not be removed under any circumstances and credit must always be made back to PhotoWoof.com

A limited selection of watermark photos can be supplied on request but these are only for personal use only such as Facebook and non copyright/watermark photos must never be used to represent yourself to modelling agencies or your modelling profiles. For modelling usuage and promotion you must always use the Copyright and Watermark logos of PhotoWoof.com. If you do not then you will be kindly asked to replace these within 7 days with copyrighted photos of PhotoWoof.com. Failure to change photos will result in the termination of using any photos from PhotoWoof and you will be asked to remove any non watermarked photos. If you then ignore this request then the modelling agency/company will be contact directly to force the removal of these photos. Some models have removed copyright and watermarks without written approval by us and this is clearly not acceptable and forms the agreement of undertaking a free shoot and free photographic services (if photosessio was free of charge). You are welcome on using any nude/adult shots for your own personal use and promotion to help gain paid work but these photos must not then be directly used by the third party website to generate money or to keep hold of these shots. These shots cannot be used for advertising on-line or in print format.

In the event that it is discovered by the photographer that photos have been used for purposes outside of the standard personal usage agreement and watermarks/copyright of PhotoWoof.com have been removed then the photographer reserves the right to withdraw the copyright from these photos and you must delete/destroy & stop using the photos you have received in any capacity and the photographer reserves the right to pursue financial compensation. The usage of photos are clearly stated in a text file supplied with the photos you receive on CD/DVD.
